Happy Chinese New Year!

I spent my New Year Eve teaching piano, dining with my family, visiting my mom at the mall & watching the All Stars b-ball (which I've never had the interest to do =P) with Yip's family. What about you? ^-^

Happy Valentine's Day, again~

I'm so thankful that Yip is here with me for our 3rd Valentine's Day together. 4 yrs ago, I wouldn't have imagined having someone special with me on this special day. I guess at certain stages, we have this insecure feeling of not being loved, 'cause it just seems so hard to be loved by the person you love. It's always the wrong person or the wrong timing, a funny joke that nobody wanna laugh at. But when the right person comes at the right timing, it's a blessing. We need to walk together with the same pace, same rhythm, so we can reach the same destination together. It's not an easy job~ Sometimes we fall, sometimes we accidentlly trip each other, but the most important thing is that we stand up together and continue our walk.

For the ones who are single, have faith in yourself, & love yourself for everything that you are! For the ones who are in a relationship, have faith in yourself, your partner & your relationship, & remember to love more on each passing day~

Hand warmer

Yesterday, one Grade One student came to me and said, "My hands are sooo cold, feel it! Ms. Chung, can you help me warm my hands?" So I wrapped & warmed her hands with my relatively bigger hands. Then she smiled and said, "Thank you Ms. Chung, I'm much warmer now!" Then two other students were waiting in line to warm their hands, so cute. =P

Been really busy with my thesis lately.. but i just took the time to send my parents and my sisters in HK each an e-card for valentine's day. just to let them know, they might think i like being here alone with the FREEDOM, but i love to be with them all the time~

I did an art lesson with the Grade Ones today, making pop-up Valentines cards~ They did better than I expected hehe. I can see that they really enjoyed it too, so happy~

有感

下面曰云個 post 好似好中: "People are not smiling as much these days".

呢排我 + 我身邊都出現好多悲劇. 看得出好多人的 smile 都只是為了不讓別人感到太難過... 我都好一陣子唔敢來這裡, 唔係咁想理其他人的樹吧. 亦都少了看 xanga, 少了 msn...

昨天, 情況慢慢開始有點好轉. 靜下來, 我到訪了很多 xangas, 看到好多人這排的起起跌跌, 開心唔開心. 突然間覺得自己好渺小, 世界卻幾時都咁大, 只要看開一點...

看了曰云這幾天的 xanga, 為她我感到了高興, 也有點點的難過. 曰云曰云, 你是個好有感情的人, 我知道, 因為在你的歌詞中感受得到. 加油~

I took the car and got gas for the first time
It made me feel so independent and happy
Although gas was expensive but to be able to pay for one of our home's big expenses made me feel so good hehe
It may sound so stupid but it just made me happy :)

half day off~

I'm supposed to have class 8:30am-11:30am, and then 5:30pm-7:30pm on Tuesdays. Yup...a 6 hour break~ But I usually take the bus & eat with Yip, and then go back to York after lunch. But today I don't have to go to the night class~~ SO I ate with Yip, Moo & Bau and then Yip drove me home. ^^" It's always more comfy to be home. =) AND I just had a nice hot bath, which makes my day super great!

Interesting day

Yesterday, I went to sing K with Yip, Ann & Moo and Joe after teaching piano. That's pretty...unusual. =P After that, we had KFC takeout at home. Then we watched a movie called "Legally Blond" in one of the channels. It was quite an interesting day...we don't usually do that kinda stuff~ hahaha~

My room is clean!

I had some visitors from Vancouver over at my house for the past week, so my room's offered to them. And...they made a mess. v_v They're gone now, so I cleaned the sink, the tub & the washroom. It's much better now! But there are blankets in my room that I need to get rid of, 'cause they're in my way haha. I wiped off the dust on the desks, and my room is resuming normal now. Still need to do some vacuuming. But at least it feels clean now. =)
