5 more days

This week is going to be my last full week of my teaching block...Well, it's not actually "full", 'cause I'm only teaching Mon-Thurs, since Friday is P.A. Day. Then I'll go back next Monday for my last day, but I'll just be having fun with the kids. Then that's it! My first 20-day teaching block is done! I survived with great pride & joy~ I'll miss the kids soooo much! But I'll keep going about once a week till the end of the school year, just to help out and spend some time with them. Maybe I'll take a week's break to sleep in as a reward, then start going once a week. =P

Feeling good

I'm feeling very comfortable & confident in the Gr.1 classroom now. My host teacher said so too~ I enjoy coming up with fun things to do with them, I love to see their writing and drawing, and they're always so cute & adorable. Well...they can be pretty crazy at times, but this is just the way kids are~ I'm more than half way through my teaching block already, time flies! I can relax & write more lyrics after that. I'm officially done on May.7, but next Friday(May.4) is P.A. Day, so I don't need to teach (but I do need to go to school to work. Yup! Teachers go to school on P.A. Days~ =P) And then Monday is my last day, which I don't plan to do any serious teaching hehe. For Math, I'll have a Math Fair with them, setting up 5 games & they can rotate & play in each station. For Language, I dunno yet, but I'll do something fun with them as well~

Just Happy

Today I had a team lunch with my co-workers.... it was really an away-lunch for me and the other coop. Altho not everyone talked a lot during the gathering, it feels good la =) cuz it seems like they are doing it for me... (well i will just treat it as if they are doing it for me haha~ even tho theres still the other coop there) The card they gave me was nice too! i think i will miss them

Also I went to the George Brown's Best of Show with Baba after work. All those designs were nice and Baba won 1st place in New Media section... congrats to him ~

Dinner with Yip

I'm so happy today~ On my way home from school, I thought of Yip and suddenly wanna spend some time with him alone, at a nice dinner table. When I got home, I called him and ask if he wanna go to Main Street or something with me tonight. And to my surprise, he said yes~ ^^" I know he's kinda busy with his work lately, so I didn't put my hopes up. But he said yes! Yay~~ We seldom go on a "date", 'cause we're in each other's schedules.

Every Friday, he'd pick me up after work and we'd go to his house, relax or do some work, then have dinner with his family. Watching "Super Female Voice" is a recent Friday family event at his house. =P On Saturday, he picks me up after 4:30pm when I finish teaching piano. We sometimes sneak in time on Friday & Saturday to go to Chapters too~ Or Staples hahaha~ Then we'll relax/do work at his house, and then dinner with his family and watch some TV, then we'll go watch him play soccer. After soccer we sometimes go to BBT with his soccer team. Then we'd return to his home & call it the night. Sunday morning, we'd go drink tea with his family. Then the rest of the day would be play/relax/work at his house. Mondays are usually no-seeing days. The rest of the week, it depends~

So...today's very refreshing~ We went to Main Street and ate at a restaurant called Blacksmith's Bistro. The food is really good, and it's one of the less expensive restaurants too~ Good choice! We went to Starbucks to get a caramel something frappucino, then we went back to my house and we watched the 8:00pm & 9:00pm show with my mom & bro. Today is a very good day, so happy~ And it's almost our 3rd year anniversary la! ^-^

THESIS IS DONE!!

well, at least for now.. can take a break before my thesis defense in May... YAY!!!

Teaching is fun~

One little boy came up to my host teacher and told her that another boy said the "s" word. We found out that the "s" word is actually..."stupid". hahahha~ And my host teacher told me that the other time, a kid said that another kid said the "f" word. So she asked them how many letters are in the word, and he said "4". The "f" word is "fart". hahahhaha~ So cute~~

Today's gifts: a 東南西北 origami from Avallon & a leaf (yes, a leaf haha~) from Chris. ^-^
